Terms of Service

2.1 Scope of Services

DL Cheers Events Ltd provides professional wedding planning, vendor sourcing, coordination, and event day management services. Specific deliverables, payment terms, and schedules for individual client events are governed by separate, legally binding written service contracts.

2.2 Operating & Communication Hours

Standard client communication is conducted Monday through Friday between 09h00 and 17h00 (Mauritian Time / GMT+4) via email, phone, Zoom, or scheduled face-to-face consultations. Urgent queries outside regular business hours may be handled via WhatsApp.

2.3 Booking, Payments, and Fees

Engagement of services requires a signed contract and payment of a non-refundable deposit (typically 50% of the total service fee). Final balances are due no later than five (5) business days prior to the event date. All payments are processed via bank transfer to our nominated account at Mauritius Commercial Bank Ltd.

2.4 Vendor Engagement & Third-Party Disclaimer

• While we recommend vetted, high-quality preferred vendors (e.g., caterers, venues, decorators, musicians), the Client contracts directly with chosen vendors and assumes full responsibility for all vendor payments and terms.
• DL Cheers Events Ltd endeavors to source top vendors but does not guarantee their individual performance, services, or products, and accepts no liability for third-party service failures.
• Clients agree to provide one hot meal and non-alcoholic beverages for the wedding coordinator and on-site team during event delivery.

2.5 Cancellations & Date Changes

• Cancellation by Client: Cancellations made up to 30 days prior to the event are eligible for a full refund minus the non-refundable deposit. Cancellations under 30 days prior to the event are non-refundable, and full contract fees remain collectible.
• Cancellation by Wedding Planner: In the event of planner cancellation, we will provide an approved replacement planner or issue a full refund of all monies paid.
• Date Modifications & Weather: Date changes are subject to planner availability. For outdoor events, alternative "Plan B" contingency options will be provided in case of severe weather disruptions.

2.6 Liability & Claims

• DL Cheers Events Ltd is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of personal items, wedding gifts, equipment, or building property during an event.
• Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless DL Cheers Events Ltd against all claims regarding stolen or damaged property.
• Any complaints or service concerns post-event must be submitted in writing within seven (7) calendar days following the event date.

2.7 Intellectual Property & Website Content

All content, photographs, text, designs, logos, and materials published on this website are the intellectual property of DL Cheers Events Ltd or licensed to us. Unauthorized duplication, distribution, or commercial reproduction is strictly prohibited.

2.8 Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These terms and any formal service agreements are governed exclusively by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius. Any disputes arising out of website usage or contractual engagements shall first be submitted to mutual mediation. If unresolved, litigation shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Mauritian courts, and the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable legal fees.
